Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Locate the Wi-Fi module in the accessories bag
Your CommBox comes with a removable Wi-Fi module packed in the accessories bag. You’ll also find a Phillips head screwdriver included.
Step 2: Power off the CommBox
Before installing the Wi-Fi module, make sure the screen is completely powered off using the main power switch located at the back of the panel.
Step 3: Remove the dust cover
Use the Phillips head screwdriver to unscrew and remove the dust cover from the module slot at the bottom of the screen.
Step 4: Install the Wi-Fi module
Insert the Wi-Fi module into the slot until secure. This enables wireless connectivity and is required for features like AirPlay, Miracast, and Chromecast to function. For Classic S5 you need to screw back in the screws.
Step 5: Power on the CommBox
Switch the CommBox back on. During setup, you’ll be prompted to connect to a network.
💡 Tip: Make sure you have your Wi-Fi name and password ready before powering on.
Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work
-
If the CommBox can’t find a Wi-Fi network, double-check the Wi-Fi module is properly connected underneath the screen.
-
Ensure your Wi-Fi supports 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands—both are supported by the module.
