What to do if touch isn’t working on your CommBox Atom

Learn how to fix issues when touch input isn’t responding on your CommBox Atom screen.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Check whether touch is unresponsive on:

  • The home screen

  • A specific input (e.g. HDMI or OPS)

2. If using HDMI, ensure the USB touch cable is also connected between your device and the screen.

3. Restart the screen and the connected device.

4. Try another USB port on the screen in case of a faulty port.

5. Use your stylus or finger to test multiple areas of the screen.

💡 Tip: Touch will only work on inputs that are connected to both video (HDMI/USB-C) and USB touch cables.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • Touch only fails on HDMI? Likely the USB touch cable is missing.

  • External computer won’t respond? Ensure the signal source matches the USB touch input.

  • Screen still frozen? Try a full power cycle: turn off, wait 10 seconds, then power on.
