Using CommBox Connect for Wireless Screen Sharing on Gen 2 LED boards

This article explains how to wirelessly share your device screen using CommBox Connect on Gen 2 LED boards.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Launch CommBox Connect

    • From the home screen, open CommBox Connect.

    • If not on the home screen, locate it under All Applications.

  2. Download CommBox Connect on Your Device

    • Download the app from https://cc.commbox.com.au/downloads.

  3. Connect Your Device

    • Ensure both the LED screen and your device are on the same Wi-Fi network.

    • Open the CommBox Connect app on your device and select the screen name from the list.

    • Tap to connect. Follow on-screen instructions to start sharing.

  4. Alternative Sharing Options

    • Use Miracast, AirPlay, or Chromecast if supported by your device.

    • From your phone, tablet, or laptop, select screen mirroring and choose the LED screen.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • Can’t See the Screen in Device List: Confirm both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.

  • Connection Fails Repeatedly: Restart the Connect app and retry.

  • Lag or Delay in Sharing: Close background apps and ensure strong Wi-Fi signal.

  • If connection still fails, log a ticket on the Support Portal.
