Understanding HDMI OUT Support on CommBox Intelligent Displays

Learn which ports support HDMI OUT on CommBox screens so you can connect external displays or capture devices with confidence.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Locate your available HDMI ports

All CommBox screens come with multiple HDMI inputs. The number and behaviour of these ports can vary by screen size.

Step 2: Identify which ports support HDMI OUT

For 43” & 55” models:

  • HDMI OUT works on:

    • USB Type-C

    • HDMI 1

    • HDMI 2

  • HDMI OUT not supported on:

    • Android Channel

For 65” – 98” models:

  • HDMI OUT works on:

    • PC Channel

    • USB Type-C

    • HDMI 1

    • HDMI 2

  • HDMI OUT not supported on:

    • Android Channel

    • HDMI 3

💡 Tip: Want to mirror your screen to another display? Be sure you're using a supported input channel before plugging into the HDMI OUT port.

Step 3: Connect your HDMI OUT

  • Use a high-speed HDMI cable.

  • Plug one end into the HDMI OUT port on your CommBox.

  • Connect the other end to your second display or capture device.

  • Make sure the input source is set to one that supports HDMI OUT as per the list above.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • If there's no signal from the HDMI OUT port:

    • Double-check you're on a supported input source.

    • Ensure the cable is securely connected.

    • Try switching to HDMI 1 or 2 if you're currently on the Android channel.
