How to enrol a NFC card or device for CommBox Accounts

Follow these steps to set up NFC enrolment on your CommBox Classic S5 display for quick and secure access using your CommBox Account.

Applies To

CommBox Classic S4 or S4+ with a Sensor Box only, S5 (in Experience Mode)

Step 1: Log in to CommBox Accounts

  • Select the side arrow on the home screen to open the side menu.

  • Click on Login to sign in to your CommBox Account and follow the Login Helper.

  • If you are using an S5 panel, ensure that you are in Experience Mode before proceeding.

Step 2: Access NFC Enrollment

  • Once logged into your account, open the side menu again.

  • Select the Manage NFC option.

Step 3: Complete NFC Enrollment

  • Once in the NFC settings, tap NFC and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the enrollment proces

By following these steps, you can successfully enroll NFC for quick and secure access to your CommBox Account.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • Make sure you're logged in to your CommBox Account first.

  • If the Manage NFC option doesn’t appear, double-check your screen is on the latest firmware and all CommBox OS bundles are up to date

  • On S5 models, ensure you’re in Experience Mode to enable NFC features.
