How to wake up your CommBox Classic S4 and put it into standby

Step-by-Step Instructions
Waking up your CommBox
You can wake the CommBox from standby in three simple ways:

Press the Power button

Located on the front of the CommBox

Or use the Power button on the remote control

Wake via HDMI/USB input

If a connected device (like a laptop or Apple TV) wakes up, the CommBox will automatically power on and switch to that input.

Putting your CommBox into standby
To return the screen to standby mode:

Press the Power button once
-
Either on the screen itself or the remote control
-
This puts the screen into low-power standby mode while retaining quick start-up capability

💡 Tip: You can still receive scheduled updates or wake the panel easily when it's in standby.
Advanced Power Settings

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

Screen won’t wake up?

Make sure the main power switch (on the back of the screen) is turned on

Try using both the remote and the screen’s Power button

Check if the screen is receiving input from a connected device

Remote not working?

Replace the AAA batteries

Make sure you’re pointing it toward the IR sensor (bottom-left of the screen bezel)
