How to use the Cleanup app on your CommBox Classic S4 and S5 screen

Applies to: Classic S4, Classic S4+, Classic S5

Step 1

From the home screen or side menu, open the Cleanup app.

💡 Tip: You can also find the Clean-up app in the Launcher under ‘Apps’.

Step 2

Tap Clean Memory to close background apps and free up system resources.

🧠 This helps your screen run faster and smoother—especially useful after a full day of use.

Step 3

Tap Clean Trash to delete temporary and unnecessary files.

🗑️ This frees up storage space and helps keep your screen organised.

Step 4

Wait a few seconds for the app to complete the clean-up process. A message will confirm once it’s done.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

• If the Clean-up app won’t open, restart your screen and try again.

• If the clean-up doesn’t free much space, try manually deleting unused apps or old whiteboard files in the Files app.

• Still having performance issues? Make sure your firmware is up to date. Go to Settings > System > System Update.
