How to switch between inputs on your CommBox Classic S4
Need to show your laptop, a document camera or an Apple TV on your CommBox? Learn how to easily switch between connected input sources like HDMI, USB-C, and the built-in PC.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Method 1: Using the Launcher

Open the side menu
Tap the handle on the left or right edge of the screen to open the side menu.

Tap the Launcher icon
This opens a view of all your connected devices and apps. -
Select your input
You’ll see a list of connected input sources like:-
HDMI 1 / HDMI 2 / HDMI 3

USB-C
-
VGA
-
Slot-In PC (OPS)

💡 The Launcher will only show inputs that are actively connected.
Method 2: Using Device Settings
- Swipe up from the bottom
- Go to Inputs Tab
- Select Input
Method 3: Using the Remote Control

Press the Input button on the remote control.

Use the arrow keys to scroll through available inputs.

Press OK to switch to the selected source.
Input Names & Labels
To make things easier to manage:

Go to Settings > Input & Output > Input Naming Settings

Toggle on Input Alias

Rename inputs to something more meaningful like “Apple TV”, “Classroom PC”, or “Document Camera”

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

No signal?

Make sure the connected device is powered on and not in sleep mode.

Try another cable or port if needed.

Wrong input showing?

Use the Launcher or remote to manually switch to the correct one.

You can also disable unused ports in Settings to reduce confusion.
