How to Power On and Off Your CommBox Meeting Room Display Gen 2
Learn how to correctly power on, power off, and manage standby mode on your CommBox Meeting Room Display Gen 2.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Connect the Power Cable
- Plug the power cable firmly into the back of the screen
- Connect the other end to a power point
- The screen supports AC 100–240V and is compatible with standard Australian power outlets
Step 2: Turn On the Rear Power Switch
- Locate the power switch on the rear of the screen
- Switch it to the ON position
- The power indicator light on the front of the screen will glow
Step 3: Turn On the Screen
- Short press the Power button on the remote to turn it on, or
- Long press the Power button on the screen itself
- The screen will display the CommBox logo before showing your last used input
Step 4: Turn Off the Screen
- Long press the Power button on the remote, or
- Long press the Power button on the screen
- The indicator light will turn off or switch to standby
💡 Tip: Use the remote for day-to-day power on and off. The rear power switch is for full shutdowns — for example, when cleaning or moving the screen.
⚠️ Important: Do not unplug the screen while it is turned on. Always power it off first using the Power button before disconnecting the power cable.
Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn't Work
- Power light not turning on — check the cable is firmly connected at both ends and the power point is switched on
- Screen turns on then immediately turns off — ensure vents are not blocked and the screen has adequate ventilation
- Remote not responding — check the batteries are correctly inserted and aim directly at the sensor on the front of the screen
