How to log into Microsoft products on your CommBox Classic S5

Learn how to sign into Microsoft tools like OneDrive, Teams, and Office apps directly from your CommBox Classic S5 to access your files and collaborate with ease.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Connect to the internet

  • Tap the Settings icon

  • Select Network & Internet

  • Connect to Wi-Fi or plug in an Ethernet cable

💡 Tip: A strong internet connection is required to sign in and sync your Microsoft account.

Step 2: Open the Microsoft app you want to use

You can use the Launcher or Side Menu to open apps like:

  • Microsoft Teams

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (if installed)

  • Microsoft OneDrive

  • Microsoft Edge (browser-based sign-in)

If the app is not installed, download it from the Google Play Store.

Step 3: Sign in with your Microsoft account

  • Enter your school or work email address

  • Enter your password when prompted

  • Follow any two-factor authentication steps if required

💡 Tip: If your school uses Microsoft 365, use your edu.au email address and password provided by your IT admin.

Step 4: Grant permission (if prompted)

Some apps will ask for permission to access files, microphone or camera. Tap Allow so the app works properly.

Step 5: Access your files and tools

Once logged in, you can:

  • Open lesson slides from OneDrive

  • Join a Teams meeting

  • Edit documents in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint

  • Access SharePoint or your school intranet from Microsoft Edge

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • App won’t open or load? Make sure your screen is connected to the internet

  • Can’t sign in? Double-check your email and password

  • Two-step verification won’t go through? Try signing in on a phone or laptop first, then retry on the screen

  • Missing apps? Open the Play Store and install them, or ask your IT team to manage installs via CommBox Manage
