How to connect a laptop to your Atom via HDMI or USB-C

Easily connect your laptop to the CommBox Atom screen using a HDMI or USB-C cable for reliable display and touch interaction.

Applies to: CommBox Atom 65", 75", 86"

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Plug one end of your HDMI or USB-C cable into your laptop.

2. Connect the other end into the front or back port of the CommBox Atom:

  • HDMI port (for video/audio only)

  • USB-C port (for video, audio, power and touch if supported)

3. If using HDMI:

  • Also connect a USB-A to USB-B touch cable to enable touch on the screen.

4. Tap the Sidebar Menu > Inputs and select the correct source (HDMI1, USB-C, etc.).

5. Your laptop screen should now appear on the CommBox.

💡 Tip: USB-C offers a single-cable solution if your laptop supports video output via USB-C.

  • No image? Make sure your laptop display is set to mirror or extend.

  • Touch not working? Check the USB touch cable is also connected.
