How to factory reset your CommBox Classic S4

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the Settings menu
   Tap the Settings icon from the side menu.

2. Go to the 'System' tab
   Scroll through the settings menu and select the second-last tab labelled System.

3. Tap on 'Factory Settings'
   In the System menu, tap Factory Settings.

4. Confirm the reset
   Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm. The display will restart and return to the initial setup screen.

💡 Tip: Back up any important files to a USB drive or cloud storage before resetting.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

• Can’t access the settings menu?
  Make sure the CommBox is not in Standby mode. Press the power button on the screen or remote to wake it up.

• Settings menu is locked?
  You may need to disable the lock via entering the PIN. If you don't know the PIN, then read this article. 

⚠️ Important: A factory reset will erase all apps, files, Wi-Fi details, and personal settings from your screen.
