How to open a CommBox OS account
Create a CommBox OS account to personalise your screen experience, save your settings, and securely access your files and apps.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Tap the Login button
On the CommBox home screen, tap the Login button located in the side menu or top toolbar.
Step 2: Choose your login method
You’ll see the option to sign in with:

Google (for Gmail or Google Workspace accounts)

Microsoft (for Microsoft 365 or school/work accounts)
💡 Tip: Schools and workplaces using Google or Microsoft can log in using their existing credentials—no need to create a separate account. A Tennant or Workspace admin must first approve CommBox Exp, the application behind CommBox OS accounts.
Step 3: Enter your credentials

Select your preferred login method

Enter your email and password
- Enter you MFA

Accept any required permissions or prompts
🔐 Security Note: Your session is securely logged and will time out automatically for privacy because you must set a session time. Max session time is 7 hours and 50 minutes.
Step 4: Start using your CommBox OS account
Once logged in, your account will:

Remember your preferred homescreen, sidebar, apps and settings

Give access to your cloud storage (Google Drive or OneDrive)

Let you sync content and profiles across other CommBox screens
Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

If your login fails, check your internet connection

If using Microsoft, your IT admin may need to approve the CommBox Exp app for your tenant
- If you are using Google, your IT admin may need to approve the CommBox Exp app for your workspace
