How to open a CommBox OS account

Create a CommBox OS account to personalise your screen experience, save your settings, and securely access your files and apps.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Tap the Login button

On the CommBox home screen, tap the Login button located in the side menu or top toolbar.

Step 2: Choose your login method

You’ll see the option to sign in with:

  • Google (for Gmail or Google Workspace accounts)

  • Microsoft (for Microsoft 365 or school/work accounts)

💡 Tip: Schools and workplaces using Google or Microsoft can log in using their existing credentials—no need to create a separate account. A Tennant or Workspace admin must first approve CommBox Exp, the application behind CommBox OS accounts.

Step 3: Enter your credentials

  • Select your preferred login method

  • Enter your email and password

  • Enter you MFA
  • Accept any required permissions or prompts

🔐 Security Note: Your session is securely logged and will time out automatically for privacy because you must set a session time. Max session time is 7 hours and 50 minutes.

Step 4: Start using your CommBox OS account

Once logged in, your account will:

  • Remember your preferred homescreen, sidebar, apps and settings

  • Give access to your cloud storage (Google Drive or OneDrive)

  • Let you sync content and profiles across other CommBox screens
