Atom: Bunya Firmware Release

The Bunya update brings a burst of new features to CommBox Atom Whiteboard, designed to make your sessions more interactive, collaborative and intuitive. As well as extend the life of your screen. From gesture-based controls and emoji pens to solar system exploration and remote sticky note collaboration, this release enhances both the classroom and boardroom experience. Whether you're leading a brainstorm or teaching the planets, Bunya gives you more control, creativity and convenience than ever before.

New Whiteboard Features

Preferences: You now have control over how your preferences are managed. Choose whether your whiteboard settings should be saved automatically or reset each time - the choice is yours.

Emoji Pen: Inject some fun into your whiteboarding sessions! The new Emoji Pen lets you add emojis directly to the canvas, making your lessons and meetings more engaging and expressive.

Select & Search: Highlight a word and instantly search via the built-in browser, YouTube or Wikipedia. Plus, you can now change the font of selected text - ideal for tailoring your content on the fly.

Sticky Note Collaboration via QR Code: Make meetings and workshops more collaborative. Participants can now scan a QR code to contribute sticky notes directly to the board by scanning the QR code on their own devices - no need to leave their seats!

Planet Menu: Explore the universe without leaving the room. The new Planet Menu lets you select planets or celestial bodies, spin them, resize them and annotate over them - perfect for science lessons or visual storytelling.

Pin Menus: Keep your tools exactly where you need them. Menus can now be pinned to stay visible while working and unpinned when you want a cleaner interface.

Partition Improvements: Working in groups or sharing the board? You can now use multiple erasers at once, enabling faster and more flexible collaboration.

Gestures

Make controlling the whiteboard effortless with five new intuitive gestures:

• Three fingers down – Capture a screenshot

• Five fingers fold up – Minimise the current application

• Five fingers swipe up/down – Move the screen up or down

• Five fingers hold – Turn off the screen

• One finger flip screen – Push a minimised application to the side to lock it into place

Power Settings – Eco Save

The new Eco Save feature automatically puts the Atom into sleep mode at your chosen time each day. It’s a smart way to save energy and extend the life of your device. If a Power Schedule is added to the device then Eco Save will be disabled.
