Why hasn’t my AirServer ‘Friendly Name’ updated?
If your AirServer name isn’t updating, it may include unsupported characters or your CommBox might need a restart.

Step 1: Check for special characters
AirServer doesn’t support special characters in the name.

Make sure your Friendly Name only includes letters, numbers and spaces
✅ Example: Room 5 Display
❌ Avoid: Room #5 @Display!
💡 Tip: Keep it short and clear so it's easy to find on the network.
Step 2: Restart your CommBox
Your CommBox must be restarted for the name change to take effect.

For interactive screens:
Hold down the power button until the screen fully turns off, then turn it back on -
For commercial displays:
Use the power switch on the back to restart the screen
