Step 1

Verify USB Port Compatibility

  • Ensure you're connecting your USB camera to a USB 3.0 port (note that all USB ports are 3.0) on the CommBox screen.

  • USB 3.0 ports are typically marked with a blue insert.

  • Using a USB 3.0 port is essential for high-definition video streaming and optimal camera performance

Step 2

Check Camera Specifications

  • Confirm that your USB camera supports USB 3.0.

  • Some high-resolution webcams require USB 3.0 for full functionality, including 1080p or 4K video streaming.

  • Refer to your camera's user manual or manufacturer's website for compatibility information.

Step 3

Connect the Camera Properly

  • Plug the USB camera directly into the CommBox screen's USB 3.0 port.
