Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1
Go to Settings > Power Save Settings on your CommBox Meeting Room Display.
This menu lets you control how the screen behaves when your connected device—like a Microsoft Teams Room controller—goes to sleep.
Step 2
Turn on the Power Save option.
This allows the screen to automatically enter sleep mode after your connected device stops sending a signal (e.g. when a Teams Room PC sleeps after 10 minutes of inactivity).
💡 Tip: This helps reduce power consumption without needing to manually switch off the screen.
Step 3
Make sure Quick Start is turned on.
This feature speeds up how quickly the display wakes up from sleep, so you can get your meeting started faster.
✅ Best for: Busy rooms where meetings start back-to-back.
Step 4
Turn Auto Power Down to off.
Leaving this option on will fully shut down the screen after 4 hours, even if it’s still in use—this could interrupt your meeting.
🚫 Avoid disruptions by keeping this setting off.
