How to upload a Wallpaper to Your CommBox S4
Customise your CommBox Classic S4 by uploading your own wallpaper. You can do this using a USB drive or CommBox Manage.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Choose your wallpaper image

Select the image you want to use as a wallpaper.

Make sure it’s in .jpg or .png format for best compatibility.
Step 2: Transfer the image to your CommBox
You have two options:

USB drive:

Copy the image to a USB stick.

Insert the USB into your CommBox.

CommBox Manage:

If you're using CommBox Manage, upload the image remotely to your screen's internal storage.

Step 3: Open the Files app

Tap the side menu handle to access the Launcher.

Select the Files app.
-
Navigate to the image location (either USB or Local Storage).
📁 Tip: If using a USB, look for the “USB” folder in Files.
Step 4: Open the image in Photos

Tap the image to open it.

If prompted, choose Photos as the default app to open images.
Step 5: Tap to reveal the settings menu

If the bottom menu isn’t visible, tap anywhere on the screen once.

Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) within the Photos app.
Step 6: Set as wallpaper

In the settings menu, tap Set to wallpaper.

Your selected image will now be set as the home screen background.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

Image won’t open?
Ensure it's in .jpg or .png format. -
Can’t see the 'Set to wallpaper' option?
Make sure you’ve opened the image using the Photos app. -
Wallpaper won’t change?
Restart the CommBox and try again, or check if the image is stored correctly.
