How to save a new login in CommBox AutoFill

Add your web app logins once, so you stop re-typing usernames and passwords on the screen.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open CommBox AutoFill in the portal

On your computer, open the CommBox Experience Portal and go to CommBox AutoFill. (See page 4)

Step 2: Choose an app or website

Under Save a new Login, pick an app/website from the dropdown. 

Step 3: Add a custom login if needed

If the app isn’t listed, choose Custom and enter the login URL for that service. 

Step 4: Add an optional nickname

Add a nickname to make the login easy to spot later (optional). 

Step 5: Enter your username and password

Type the credentials you want CommBox AutoFill to store securely. 

Step 6: Save the login

Click Save Login. You’re ready to use AutoFill on the screen. 

💡 Tip: Saving Google, Microsoft, or Atlassian can cover their wider app suites (for example, Microsoft apps like Word/PowerPoint).

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • If the URL doesn’t work on the screen, confirm you entered the exact login page URL (not the homepage).

  • If you changed the password recently, update it in your Vault so AutoFill uses the latest password.
