How to Mirror Your Apple Device to a CommBox Screen
Learn how to wirelessly mirror your iPhone, iPad or Mac screen to a CommBox using AirPlay in just a few steps.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network
Make sure both your Apple device and CommBox screen are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
💡 Tip: AirPlay will not work across different networks or on guest Wi-Fi.
Step 2: Turn On CommBox Connect and Enable AirPlay

On your CommBox screen, open the CommBox Connect app

Tap Menu > Settings

Ensure AirPlay is toggled ON

Confirm that Allow this device to be discovered is enabled
Step 3: Start Screen Mirroring from Your Apple Device
On iPhone or iPad:

Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open Control Centre

Tap Screen Mirroring

Select your CommBox screen from the list of available devices

Your screen will now appear on the CommBox
On MacBook or iMac:

Click the Control Centre icon in the top-right of the menu bar

Select Screen Mirroring

Choose your CommBox screen from the list

Your Mac screen will begin mirroring
💡 Tip: You can choose to mirror your full screen or use the CommBox as a second display by adjusting settings under System Preferences > Displays.
Step 4: Stop Mirroring When You’re Done

On iPhone/iPad: Return to Control Centre and tap Stop Mirroring

On Mac: Click the Screen Mirroring icon and select Turn AirPlay Off
Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

CommBox isn’t showing up?

Ensure AirPlay is turned on in CommBox Connect Settings

Check both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network

Restart both your Apple device and the CommBox screen

- Audio isn’t playing on the CommBox?

Swipe to Control Centre, hold down the audio control, and make sure the CommBox is selected as the output device
