[CommBox Connect powered by EShare](https://support.commbox.com.au/knowledge/commbox-os?hsLang=en#commbox-connect-powered-by-eshare) # How to Give Your CommBox a Different Name in EShare ## Learn how to rename your CommBox screen in the EShare app so it’s easier for users to identify and connect to the correct device. **Applies To** Applies to: V3, V3X, Atom and Commercial Display V4 #### Step 1: Open CommBox Connect on your touchscreen Tap the **CommBox Connect** icon inside the applications menu to launch the application. #### Step 2: Go to Settings Tap the **Settings** icon (⚙️) in the bottom-right corner of the CommBox Connect screen. #### Step 3: Change the device name - Tap on **Device Name** - Enter a new name that’s easy to recognise (e.g. “Room 5A” or “Science Lab”) - Tap **Confirm** or **Save** to apply the change 💡 Tip: Use classroom names or numbers to help students and staff connect to the correct screen quickly. **Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work** -
