You can change the HDMI EDID on your CommBox Display A8 to improve compatibility with older devices or resolve HDMI signal issues. Follow these steps to switch the EDID from 2.0 to 1.4.

Step-by-step Instructions

  1. Switch to the HDMI source

    • Make sure the display is set to the HDMI input connected to your output device (e.g., laptop, media player).

  2. Open the CommBox menu

    • Use the remote control that came with your CommBox Display A8.

    • Press the 'Menu' button to open the on-screen display menu.

  3. Navigate to the second tab

    • Use the arrow keys on the remote to move across the top tabs until you reach the second tab.
