Step 2: Maintain Your Product to Keep Warranty Valid
-
Keep firmware up to date using the CommBox OTA system, CommBox Manage or by requesting firmware update. Check here to find out what the latest firmware release is.
-
Do not exceed the recommended 16 hours of continuous daily use for Interactive screens. CommBox Interactive screens must be placed in standby mode for at least 8 hours per day to maintain the longevity of the screen.
-
Install according to official specs and guidelines.
-
Only use compatible and authorised equipment.
🛠️ Failure to update firmware or improper installation can void your extended coverage.
Step 3: Register Your Warranty
-
Registering ensures faster resolution and better service.
-
You can register your warranty at CommBox Warranty Registration.
Step 4: Understand When Your Warranty Begins
-
Coverage starts from the date on the supplier’s invoice.
-
Unless explicitly approved, warranties apply only in the country of purchase.
Step 5: Claiming Under Warranty
To make a warranty claim:
-
Gather your proof of purchase and the product's serial number.
-
Take photo or video evidence of the issue.
-
Log a support ticket via CommBox Support Portal.
We will always ask for this information. Gather the information before you log the ticket so your support ticket can be actioned quicker.
Claims are first diagnosed remotely. CommBox endeavors to diagnose and resolve any issues through over-the-phone and remote troubleshooting. If that is unsuccessful, we will carry out on-site part replacement as needed. Full panel replacement remains at the discretion of CommBox.
Know that these term mean and your warranty varies by region.
-
Onsite warranty: CommBox arranges the spare part, replacement product and the technician.
- Swapout warranty: CommBox will send the replacement product only
-
Back-to-base warranty: You may need to ship the unit back at your cost.
📦 DOA (Dead on Arrival) claims must be made within 14 days of delivery.
📷 If the packaging is damaged, it’s the signee’s responsibility. If the unit is damaged but the packaging is fine, log a ticket immediately.
Step 6: Extended Onsite Warranty Availability

Available at time of purchase through authorised CommBox Resellers and Distributors.
-
Offered for Australia customers only.
-
Can be free (included at sale) or paid (optional upgrade).
