Why won't my CommBox Signage player connect to my Wi-Fi network?

The CommBox Signage player cannot connect to Wi-Fi networks configured with WPA2/WPA3 mixed security mode.

It is compatible only with WPA2 security. If your network is set to WPA2/WPA3, the device will repeatedly attempt to connect and fail.

 

A network administrator can resolve this issue by reconfiguring the Wi-Fi network to use WPA2-PSK (AES) security instead of WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode, ensuring compatibility with the CommBox Signage hardware player
