CommBox LED Board: Remote Control Interface Guide

This guide provides detailed information on the key functions, connectivity control, enhanced features, and additional capabilities of the CommBox LED Board's remote control interface

Key Functions

• Volume Adjustment:

  • Use the Volume+ and Volume- keys to control the audio output level.

• Home Screen Access:

  • Press the Home screen key to return to the main interface.

• Brightness Adjustment:

  • Adjust the screen brightness with the dedicated Brightness adjustment keys.

• Navigation:

  • Navigate through the menu options using the Right, Enter, and Down keys.

Connectivity Control

• HDMI Input:

  • Connect your device via HDMI and use the channel switch key on the remote control to switch to the HDMI display channel.

• Audio Output:

  • Connect an audio cable to the 3.5mm audio output port and control the volume with the remote control.

• USB/Type-C Interface:

  • Access the contents of a USB disk or connect peripherals like a mouse and keyboard through the system home screen explorer.

  • The CommBox LED Board includes CommBox OS, offering seamless screen sharing and 4 input display capabilities, designed to work seamlessly with Microsoft Teams Room devices.

• CommBox Signage License:

  • With the CommBox Signage License, you can display engaging content easily, and the board can be controlled with CommBox Manage, providing an extensive control protocol for Integrators and IT Managers.

Additional Capabilities

• NFC Login:

  • Optional NFC login via the CommBox Sensor for added security is available, enhancing the user experience with quick access to files and apps through CommBox Accounts.

• CommBox Connect:

  • The CommBox Connect feature supports native protocols like Miracast, AirPlay, and Chromecast, and offers additional features through the CommBox Connect app for personal devices.
