Classic S5: Huntsman Firmware Release

The Huntsman firmware update brings new device management, cloud content, personalisation, Whiteboard and security features to the CommBox Classic S5, including Microsoft Intune enrolment, Connected Services, Tray and new Whiteboard tools.

Intune Enrolment

Microsoft Intune Support

CommBox Classic S5 now supports Microsoft Intune enrolment, enabling IT administrators to seamlessly integrate CommBox screens into their existing device management environment.

With Intune support, organisations can centrally manage policies, security settings and device compliance, making it easier to deploy, secure and maintain screens at scale.

Connected Services

Connect Your Cloud Storage Services

Users can now connect their SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive and Shared Google Drives directly to their CommBox account.

Once connected, cloud-based content can be accessed natively through the Files app and Tray, making it easier to find and open files without switching devices or navigating multiple platforms.

Users maintain control over their connected services and can disconnect cloud accounts at any time.

Tray

Personalised Content with Tray

Tray makes it easy to access the content you need on your CommBox screen without searching through folders or connecting external devices.

Users can create personalised collections on their laptop containing files, folders, web links, applications and cloud-based content. Collections can also be scheduled to appear when they are needed, helping users stay organised throughout the day.

When signed in to a CommBox screen, users can open the Tray app and instantly access their collections. Simply tap a file or resource to open it on the screen.

Tray is ideal for teachers, presenters and meeting participants, ensuring important content is available exactly when and where it is needed.

Favourite Posters

Users can now mark posters as favourites, allowing quick access to commonly used posters.

Category Filtering

A new category filter has been added to help users browse and find posters more efficiently.

A new Image Widget is now available for the Home screen, allowing users to display a rotating collection of images directly on their CommBox screen.

Users can configure a collection of images that automatically cycle through, creating a dynamic and engaging display experience.

The Image Widget is ideal for a wide range of use cases, including:
