On your CommBox Classic V3X:
How do I upgrade my Classic V3/V3X via USB or OTA?

IMPORTANT WARNING - PLEASE READ!

  • The latest firmware release Melaleuca 3.8.0 also has a touch firmware update. The touch firmware update is after the main firmware update and the screen has rebooted. DO NOT turn off the screen after the main firmware updates and the screen reboots. You must leave the screen on for at least 20 minutes so that the touch upgrade can complete.  
  • If you don't do this, then the touch firmware will show as 0.0.0 and you will need to reach out to CommBox support to update the touch firmware separately.
