Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Fix Power Issues
- Power light not coming on — check the power cable is firmly connected at both ends, confirm the power point is on, and check the rear power switch is in the ON position
- Screen turns off unexpectedly — check that the vents are not blocked and the screen has adequate airflow; also check the No Signal Standby setting under Power On/Off Settings
Step 2: Fix Image Issues
- Power is on but no image — check the correct input source is selected (press SOURCE on the remote); confirm the video cable is firmly connected; ensure the connected device is turned on and sending a signal
- Image is jerking, flickering, or showing ripples — this is usually electrical interference; try turning off nearby devices such as lamps or fans, or move the screen away from them
- Screen too dim or too bright — go to MENU > Image Settings > Custom and adjust the Brightness slider
- Image distorted or stretched — go to MENU > Image Settings > Advanced Image Mode > Aspect Ratio and select 16:9
- Colours look incorrect or washed out — go to MENU > Image Settings > Custom and check Saturation, Hue, and Colour Temperature; or try Standard mode
Step 3: Fix Audio Issues
- No sound — check the screen is not muted (press Mute on the remote); turn up the volume using Vol+; if using HDMI or USB-C, confirm your device's audio output is set to the external screen
- Sound is distorted or too quiet — try a different Sound Mode under Audio Settings; check that the Audio Out cable is securely connected to your external speakers
Step 4: Fix Remote Control Issues
- Remote not responding — replace the AAA batteries; ensure a clear line of sight to the IR sensor on the front of the screen
- Remote buttons locked — use the physical buttons on the screen to go to MENU > Other Settings > Remote Lock and turn it off
💡 Tip: If you have tried all of the above and the screen is still not working as expected, a factory reset will restore all settings to their defaults. Go to MENU > About This Screen > Restore Factory Settings.
