Applies to: CommBox Interactive screens (touch-enabled), particularly the CommBox Classic S4, S4+, Horizon, S5

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Crop tool

  1. Open the CommBox whiteboard or tools menu (where your quick tools appear).

Step 2: Select what you want to capture

  1. Drag your finger to draw a box around the area you want to screenshot.

  2. Choose where to save it (this may be Internal Storage, Downloads, or Pictures depending on the screen setup).

Step 4: Find and use your screenshot

  1. Open Files (or your file manager).

  2. Go to the save location you selected and open the image.

  3. Share it via email, USB, or your preferred app.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • You can’t find the screenshot

    • Check Downloads, Pictures, or the whiteboard/app’s saved items area.

  • Crop tool isn’t visible

    • Make sure you are using a CommBox Interactive screen (touch-enabled).

    • Exit and reopen the tools menu or whiteboard app.

  • Nothing saves when you tap Save

    • Check the screen has enough storage space.

    • Restart the screen and try again.

If the Crop tool is missing or saving still fails, log a ticket on the Support Portal at Knowledge Base and include your CommBox model and a photo of the tools menu.
