Learn how to take a quick screenshot on your CommBox Interactive screen using the Crop tool, so you can save and share what’s on screen in seconds.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Crop tool

Open the CommBox whiteboard or tools menu (where your quick tools appear).

Tap Crop.
Step 2: Select what you want to capture

Drag your finger to draw a box around the area you want to screenshot.

Adjust the corners if you need to refine the selection.
💡 Tip: Cropping only what you need keeps screenshots clean and easy to share with students or colleagues.
Step 3: Save the screenshot

Tap Save (or the save/download icon).

Choose where to save it (this may be Internal Storage, Downloads, or Pictures depending on the screen setup).
Step 4: Find and use your screenshot

Open Files (or your file manager).

Go to the save location you selected and open the image.

Share it via email, USB, or your preferred app.
Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

You can’t find the screenshot

Check Downloads, Pictures, or the whiteboard/app’s saved items area.

Crop tool isn’t visible

Make sure you are using a CommBox Interactive screen (touch-enabled).

Exit and reopen the tools menu or whiteboard app.

Nothing saves when you tap Save

Check the screen has enough storage space.

Restart the screen and try again.

If the Crop tool is missing or saving still fails, log a ticket on the Support Portal at Knowledge Base and include your CommBox model and a photo of the tools menu.
