How to Use the Remote Control with Your CommBox Meeting Room Display Gen 2

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Install the Batteries
- Open the battery cover on the back of the remote
- Insert two AAA batteries (included), matching + and – to the markings inside
- Close the cover until it clicks securely
- ⚠️ Important: Do not mix old and new batteries — replace both at the same time
Step 2: Learn the Active Buttons
- Power — short press to turn on; long press to turn off
- Mute — toggle audio on and off
- Arrow Keys (▲ ▼ ◄ ►) — navigate menus
- OK — confirm a selection
- Vol+ / Vol– — increase or decrease volume
- Menu — open the Settings menu
- Source — open the Input source list
- Back/Return — exit or return to the previous menu
- Numeric Keys — used to input numbers (e.g. display ID)
Step 3: Know Which Buttons Have No Function
- F1, Sound Mode, Info, Image Mode, Clock, 16:9, and all playback controls have no function on this model
💡 Tip: If the built-in IR sensor is blocked by a cabinet or wall mount, you can connect an external infrared receiver to the IR IN port on the back of the screen.
Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn't Work
- Remote not responding — check batteries are correctly inserted; try replacing with fresh batteries
- Remote works intermittently — ensure a clear line of sight to the sensor on the front of the screen
- All buttons locked — navigate to MENU > Other Settings > Remote Lock using the physical buttons on the screen and turn it off
