How to use Annotate on CommBox Interactive Neo

Write over any content on screen to explain ideas clearly and keep everyone engaged.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Open the on-screen menu using the Function/menu button on the front of the screen. (Reference: front menu button, page 10)

Step 2

Select Annotate to open the annotation toolbar over your current input. 

Step 3

Use your finger or the double-ended stylus to write or draw. 

Step 4

Drag the annotate toolbar to a convenient spot on the screen. 

Step 5

Use the toolbar options like Pen, Clean, Background, Save, and Exit. 

💡 Tip: Annotation makes explanations faster because everyone sees the key points instantly.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • If ink appears in the wrong place or writing is intermittent, restart the Neo and remove strong infrared light sources nearby (like some lamps).

  • If pens don’t write but touch works, confirm you are using a CommBox Neo pen.
