How to update CommBox Interactive Neo firmware

Check for upgrades so the screen stays stable, secure, and compatible with modern devices.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Connect the Neo to your network (Ethernet is ideal). (Reference: LAN purpose, page 11)

Step 2

Open Settings.

Step 3

Select Upgrade to view the current version and search for upgrades. 

Step 4

Install updates as prompted, then restart the Neo if required.

💡 Tip: Updates improve performance and help prevent avoidable issues during teaching and presentations.

Alternatively contact CommBox Support for a USB file to update the firmware.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • If you cannot check for upgrades, confirm the Neo has network access.

  • If touch or display issues persist, firmware updates are a recommended step.
