How to Share Files Between Devices Using CommBox Connect Powered By EShare

Step 1: Connect your device to the CommBox screen

Make sure your phone, tablet, or computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the CommBox screen.
Open the CommBox Connect app on the screen and the EShare app on your device.
Connect by scanning the QR code or selecting the screen name.

Step 2: Open the file sharing feature in the EShare app

Once connected, tap File Sharing in the EShare app located next to the settings kog in the bottom left corner. 
You’ll see options to browse and select files from your device.

Step 3: Choose the file you want to share

Select the file type (e.g. photo, video, document, PDF, audio) and tap to send it to the CommBox screen.
The file will appear on the screen and can be opened or displayed.

Step 4: Control the shared file

Use the CommBox touchscreen to open, scroll, or play the shared file.
You can also annotate or zoom in depending on the file type.

💡 Tip: Teachers can use this to quickly share worksheets, slides, or media with the class.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

• Make sure both devices are on the same network
• Restart the EShare app if the file doesn’t appear
• Check that the file format is supported (PDF, DOCX, MP4, JPG, XLS, docx, etc.)
• For persistent issues, log a ticket on the CommBox Support Portal
