How to Setup a Screensaver on the CommBox Classic S5

CommBox Classic S5 — All models (CommBox OS Experience required)

Step-by-Step Instructions

• Put images you want to display on a USB and then transfer them to the screen Storage using the Files app. If required, create a folder called photos.
  • Alternatively, transfer the files from your Cloud Drive (OneDrive or Google Drive) to Storage after signing in with a CommBox Account
• Reboot the screen with a long press of the power button and turn back on to update the file system and new folder structure.
• Go to the Launcher via the side menu, then go to Settings > Display > Screensaver and turn on the screensaver.
• Select your idle timeout, then select the Photos option, press Customise and you should see your folder at the bottom to select with the check box on the right.
• Go back to the Screensaver settings screen and tap Preview to see what it will look like.

 Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn't Work 

• If you do not see the Photos folder you created in the Photos option, ensure that you have done a full shutdown and restart of the CommBox Classic S5
• If the Screensaver says there are no photos, check what format the files are in. JPEG files have been tested and confirmed to work
