How to reset the actuator position on motorised AV furniture

Before You Begin

• Remove the CommBox panel from the stand, so it is not under load. 

• Locate the button controller, typically connected via cable to the actuator control box

🛠️ Reset Procedure

Method 1: Standard Reset

1. Press and hold the DOWN button on the controller

2. Keep holding even after the stand reaches its lowest point.

3. Continue to hold for 5–10 seconds until you hear a "click" or see the actuator slightly bounce or move.

4. Release the button. The reset is complete.

5. Test the up/down movement to confirm it works normally.

Method 2: Manual Reset (if there’s no response)

1. Unplug the power cable from the  stand, for at least 10 seconds.

2. Plug the power back in.

3. Immediately press and hold the DOWN button again for 10–15 seconds.

4. Wait for a click or motion, then release.

Tips

• If reset fails, check cables and connectors, especially to the actuators and control box.
