Applies to: CommBox Interactive Neo (CBIN65, CBIN75, CBIN86)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Plug an Ethernet (LAN/RJ45) cable into the Neo’s LAN port and into your network point or switch.

Step 2

Open Settings on the Neo.

Step 3

Go to Network and toggle Ethernet on if needed.

Step 4

Choose:

  • Obtain IP automatically (recommended for most schools and offices), or

  • Set an IP address manually if your IT team requires it.

Step 5

Set Proxy details only if your network uses a proxy.

💡 Tip: A wired connection improves reliability for screen sharing and reduces drop-outs.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • If the Neo does not connect, try a different Ethernet cable or port.

  • If your network requires static IP, confirm the IP settings with your IT team.
