How to connect a laptop to CommBox Interactive Neo using HDMI and USB touch

Use HDMI for video and a USB touch cable for full touch control, so presentations stay interactive.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Connect an HDMI cable from your laptop to an HDMI port on the Neo. 

Step 2

Connect the USB-B (Touch) port on the Neo to your laptop using the included USB A–B cable. This enables touch.

Step 3

Turn the Neo on, then press the Input button and select the HDMI input you used. 

Step 4

Test touch by tapping on your laptop content on the Neo screen.

💡 Tip: If you can see the laptop but touch doesn’t work, the USB touch cable is the missing step.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • If you see video but touch doesn’t work, confirm the USB-B (Touch) cable is connected. 

  • Restart the Neo and the laptop if touch is intermittent. 

  • Keep the USB cable length within 3 metres for best touch performance.
