How to activate CommBox AI on your CommBox Classic S5
Learn how to activate CommBox AI using your licence code so you can start using the AI tools on your screen.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Update the screen
Open Settings > System > System update and install the latest update.
Step 2: Connect to the internet
Make sure the screen is connected with Wi-Fi or Ethernet. AI features need internet access.
Step 3: Open an AI app
Open one of the AI tools from the launcher such as Circle & Go. A registration window appears.
Step 4: Enter your registration code
Type in your AI licence code and complete the registration. This was provided by your reseller when you purchased the AI license.
Step 5: Check the AI tools
Open the launcher and confirm these apps are working:
- Ask AI
- Circle & Go
- Live Subtitles
- Video Pilot
- Calculator Pro
💡 Tip: Drag the AI apps to your home screen or side menu to make them easier to reach.
Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work
If the AI apps do not appear:
- Confirm the screen is a CommBox Classic S5
- Confirm you are on the latest firmware - Goanna or later
- Confirm the licence has been assigned to the screen
- Check that the apps have not been hidden or disabled by device management
