How do I turn off or adjust the screen protection feature on my CommBox Display A8?

The CommBox Display A8 includes a screen protection feature—a black and white image that helps prevent screen burn. You can turn this feature off, change how long it takes to activate, or run a pixel refresh if needed.

Steps to adjust screen protection settings:

  1. Press the Settings button on your remote or navigate to the Settings menu.

  2. Go to the 5th tab at the top (marked with a spanner and hammer icon).

  3. Scroll down and select Wallpaper and Display.

  4. Under Screen Protection, choose one of the following options:

    • To turn off the screen protection, set the toggle to OFF.

    • To change the activation time, adjust the Protection Time setting to your preferred duration.

These options allow you to customize when and how screen protection appears on your display.
