Connect cloud storage services to your CommBox account

Connect OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive and Shared Google Drives to a CommBox account, then browse them in Files and use them in Tray.

Applies to

CommBox Classic S5 running Huntsman firmware or later; a CommBox account.

Before you begin

A CommBox account.

Permission to sign in to the cloud service you want to connect.

A Classic S5 running Huntsman firmware or later.

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Sign in on another device

On a laptop, tablet or mobile device, go to commboxexp.com , Login to Portal and sign in to your CommBox account.

Step 2: Open Connected Services

Select Connected Services, then choose OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive or Shared Google Drives.

Step 3: Authorise the connection

Follow the service sign-in prompts and approve access. Only connect accounts you are authorised to use.

Step 4: Open your files on the screen

Sign in to the same CommBox account on the Classic S5. Open Files and select the connected service from the side menu. Browse folders and open the content you need.

Step 5: Use connected content in Tray

When creating a Tray collection on commboxexp.com, add files or folders from your connected services so they are ready when you sign in to the screen.

Important notes

You can disconnect a service at any time from Connected Services at commboxexp.com.

If cloud-drive access has been disabled in CommBox OS Experience settings, contact the screen administrator.

Troubleshooting

If a service is not shown in Files, confirm you are signed in to the same CommBox account used to connect it.

If you cannot sign in, check your organisation’s Microsoft or Google access policies with your IT administrator.

If content does not load, check the screen’s internet connection, then disconnect and reconnect the service.
