How to use split screen mode on your CommBox Classic V3 or V3X screen

Use split screen mode on your CommBox Classic V3 or V3X to view and interact with two apps side by side for better multitasking.

Step 1: Open the Apps You Want to Use

  • Launch both apps from the apps list

  • Make sure they are running in the background

Step 2: Open the Window Viewer

  • Tap the window viewer icon from the side menu on your screen

  • This shows all currently open apps

Step 3: Activate Split Screen

  1. Press and hold one of the app windows

  2. Drag it to the left or right where it says “Drag here to use split screen”

  3. Repeat for the second app by dragging it to the opposite side

💡 Tip: This is great for displaying a web browser on one side and a whiteboard or document viewer on the other.

Troubleshooting / What to Do If It Doesn’t Work

  • Not all apps support split screen – try with another app

  • If the screen doesn’t respond, reboot and try again

  • Make sure your firmware is up to date
