Add an Image Widget to the CommBox Classic S5 home screen

Applies to

CommBox Classic S5 running Huntsman firmware or later with CommBox OS Experience enabled.

Before you begin

• CommBox OS Experience is enabled.

• All images you want to display are stored in one folder.

• If using a personal collection, sign in to the CommBox account that can access the folder.

Step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Add an image widget

On the Home screen of your CommBox Classic S5, tap the blue "Add" button on the top tool bar

Step 2: Place the Image Widget

Select Image Widget, then drag it onto the home screen and position it where you want it to appear.

Step 3: Choose your image folder

Once you have placed the widget, tap the add button, then select the folder containing the images you want to display. All images for the widget must be stored in the same folder.

Step 5: Configure the display

• Choose how long each image is shown.

• Choose how images are cropped or fitted within the widget.

Step 3: Save and check

Save the widget, then return to the home screen to confirm the images cycle as expected.

Important notes

• Keep all images for one widget in the same folder.

• Use images sized for the available widget area to reduce cropping and improve readability.

Troubleshooting

• If images do not appear, confirm the selected folder contains supported image files and that the signed-in account has access.

• If an image is cropped unexpectedly, edit the widget and select a different crop or fit option.
